FLB Shareholder Tim Charlesworth just completed his 13th year of teaching in the Masters of International Business Administration program at the ESDES Lyon Business School at the Catholic University of Lyon, France (Université Catholique de Lyon – UCLy). The school enjoys an affiliation with DeSales University in Center Valley, PA.
Tim’s intensive, one-week International Business Law course combines legal principles with real-world examples of companies navigating cross-border business challenges. Students give Group Presentations, in addition to a Final Exam and homework. Tim combines teaching of important legal principles with real-world examples of how companies cope with the challenges of cross-border transactions and disputes.
Students enrolled in this ESDES program and come from various countries in Europe, Latin America and Africa. This year’s class included students from such diverse locations as India, Madagascar and Philadelphia. Current global events provided many lessons and sparked discussion on the ways businesses can be impacted by tariffs, political instability and other circumstances outside of their control.
The ESDES International Business Administration is a full-time program and is taught 100% in English. Students with this degree pursue international careers with companies both in France and other regions.
