Peter E. Iorio, shareholder in the Firm’s Estate Planning & Administration of Trusts, and Taxation Groups, was a guest on WDIY’s Your Financial Choices, an hour-long show that covers a wide range of topics focused on helping listeners make sound personal finance choices.
Mr. Iorio gave a broad overview of estate planning tools and mechanisms. He shared some stories from past experiences on a show titled, “Estate Planning Stories,” which originally aired on Wednesday November 2. Mr. Iorio was interviewed by the show host Laurie Siebert, a certified financial planner.
Topics discussed included the difference between beneficiary designations and estate planning-specific documents, Durable Power of Attorney, Healthcare Directives and the implications of HIPAA, as well as the difference between Revocable, Irrevocable and Testamentary Trusts.
Mr. Iorio serves in FLB’s Estate Planning practice and helps individuals design and execute estate planning documents to meet their individual and specific needs. Mr. Iorio’s practice involves not only the development and implementation of Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Living Wills and Prenuptial Agreements, but also the administration of estates and trusts.
