Peter E. Iorio, shareholder in the Firm’s Estate Planning & Administration of Trusts, and Taxation Groups, was a guest on WDIY’s Your Financial Choices on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. This 
hour-long show covers a wide range of topics focused on helping listeners make sound personal finance choices. He was interviewed by the show host Laurie Siebert, a certified financial planner.
In an episode entitled “Flexible Estate Planning,” Mr. Iorio shared an overview of PA intestacy rules, which dictate how one’s assets are distributed upon death, in the absence of estate planning documents. Alternatively, individuals and families can record their wishes in a Will and through other estate planning tools such as a Trust, beneficiary designations, and more. An estate attorney can help determine which flexible estate planning strategies will best suit and benefit an individual and their family, also taking into account inheritance taxes and more.
Mr. Iorio serves in FLB’s Estate Planning practice and helps individuals design and execute estate planning documents to meet their individual and specific needs. Mr. Iorio’s practice involves not only the development and implementation of Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Living Wills and Prenuptial Agreements, but also the administration of estates and trusts.
