Fitzpatrick Lentz & Bubba is pleased to announce that Kate Durso, a shareholder in the Firm’s Real Estate, Land Use & Development practice, has been recognized nationally as an influential leader in commercial real estate. Durso was honored as a 2017 Woman of Influence by Real Estate Forum magazine, in the magazine’s July/August edition.
For the 24th consecutive year, Real Estate Forum recognized 50 women throughout the United States who have meaningfully contributed to commercial real estate, have been successful in their endeavors and have served as inspirations to others in both business and community.
With nearly 25 years experience in commercial real estate law, Durso’s practice areas include real estate, land use, development and zoning, in which she frequently represents developers and private individuals with zone and land development submissions and issues. Real Estate Forum noted a recent project, “the ground-up development of a Hilton Homewood Suites, for which she obtained all development approvals, including significant zoning relief and approval from a local conservation district and architectural review board,” as just one example of Durso’s significant influence.
