Joshua A. Gildea, shareholder in the Firm’s Litigation & Trial Practice, recently published an article regarding CASPA in the Lehigh Valley’s Network Magazine, a publication by and for high-level professionals in the region.
CASPA stands for the Contractor and Subcontractor Payment Act, a staple of PA construction law for more than twenty years. The act was overhauled in late 2018. As Mr. Gildea states:
“As a result of these changes, Contractors, Subcontractors, Owners of real estate and real estate developers more generally will want to look over their contracts and evaluate how they deal with disputes over construction work. Everyone involved in the field will do well to pay careful attention to deadlines and act promptly to give notice of deficiency items.”
