Joseph A. Fitzpatrick, one of the firm’s founding members and attorney in our Real Estate, Land Use & Development group, will be leading a panel to discuss the Lehigh Valley of the future. This panel, a vision of the Lehigh Valley Planning Commission, will address the $2.5 billion strategy to deal with the region’s land use and development, transportation, housing and environmental protection in the coming decades. Questions from the audience will be welcomed.

Dubbed “FutureLV: The Regional Plan”, this plan is an update to the current regional plan created in 2005. Since that time, there have been many technological and methodological advancements that our region’s leaders can use to improve the quality of life for all citizens in the Lehigh Valley. This revision aims to utilize newer building methods, as well as account for the needs and desires of all citizens. To advance the Lehigh Valley while also maintaining its history and integrity, the creators needed to put careful thought into balancing the region’s economic and cultural identities. Overall, the goal is to allow our region to flourish as an economic powerhouse on a global scale while preserving the beauty that makes us all love living here.

FutureLV will be held on Thursday, November 14, at the ArtsQuest SteelStacks Campus in Bethlehem. The panel will consist of Becky Bradley from the Lehigh Valley Planning Commission, Owen O’Neil of LANta and Mike Rebert of PennDOT, and will be moderated by our very own Joe Fitzpatrick. Registration will occur from 3:30PM – 4PM, with the discussion beginning promptly at 4PM. Alternatively, click here to register online and ensure your spot for this historic discussion.
