Joseph A. Bubba of the Healthcare Group and Christopher M. McLean of the Real Estate, Land Use & Development Group represented Phoebe Ministries of Allentown in a $12 million purchase of Rodale’s former property in Emmaus.
Phoebe plans to create health and wellness-focused living spaces for individuals aged 62 and older. These residential facilities are expected to be available in 2020. The development will be named “Chestnut Ridge at Rodale” to honor the former owners’ long connection to the Emmaus community.
“Helping Phoebe achieve its vision of purchasing and renovating this land, long-known for its advancement of health and wellness initiatives has been gratifying,” said Mr. Bubba.
