Fitzpatrick Lentz & Bubba, P.C. (FLB) will host its “Winning the Battle of the Forms: How to Gain the Advantage” seminar on Tuesday, April 26 at the Brookside Country Club in Macungie from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM.
“Purchase orders and invoices are the ‘heart’ of the business stream of commerce. In any one transaction, it’s not unusual that the terms and conditions of those standard forms to be inconsistent and vary dramatically,” said Joseph A. Bubba, the Firm’s Managing Shareholder. “It’s crucial to understand how to properly use the ‘fine print’ in order to avoid a costly legal battle.”
FLB attorneys Tim Charlesworth and Ken Charette will lead the session and provide attendees with best practices and next steps for updating a company’s legal documentation.
Timothy D. Charlesworth is a shareholder and attorney in the Firm’s Corporate, Business and Banking group. Mr. Charlesworth’s practice includes international business/trade law, including distribution and agency relationships, technology licensing, business and commercial law. He frequently speaks about subjects related to International Business/Trade Law, including presentations to the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s ‘Business Lawyer’s Institute.’
Kenneth R. Charette is a member of the Firm’s Corporate, Business, and Banking Group, as well as its Healthcare Group. He routinely assists clients with a wide range of business and corporate law matters, including, but not limited to: entity selection and formation, shareholder relations and corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, raising capital, regulatory compliance, commercial real estate, and general contract drafting and review.
