Fitzpatrick Lentz & Bubba, P.C., is pleased to announce that Maraleen D. Shields, an associate attorney at the Firm, has been named to Lehigh Valley Business’ “Forty under 40” list. The awards program recognizes and celebrates 40 of the Greater Lehigh Valley’s most accomplished businesspeople under the age of 40.

Shields focuses her practice on all types of healthcare litigation, including risk management; malpractice; medical staff matters; hospital fair hearings; and healthcare business disputes. Prior to FLB, Shields practiced at Stevens & Lee, P.C. in the Bethlehem and Lancaster areas.
Shields received her B.A. from Kenyon College and her J.D. from University of Pittsburgh School of Law. She is a member of the Northampton County Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, Lehigh County Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
She serves as an Executive Committee member at the Kenyon Fund at Kenyon College, and as a member of the Board of Trustees at The Hillside School.
Shields and the other award recipients will be honored at the “Forty Under 40” awards ceremony on June 10 at Hotel Bethlehem.
