Fitzpatrick Lentz & Bubba Expands Family Law Group and Welcomes Three Shareholders

Fitzpatrick Lentz & Bubba, P.C. (FLB) is pleased to announce the addition of three highly regarded attorneys and shareholders. Lauren L. Sorrentino, Amy L. Kruzel and Catherine A. Curcio join the Firm as Shareholders in the Firm’s Family Law Group. Ms. Curcio will also be a member of the Real Estate & Land Use Group. Ms. Sorrentino will chair the Family Law Group. Emil Kantra, who previously held that position, has moved to an Of Counsel position as he prepares for his retirement after 44 years of practice.

Ms. Sorrentino, Ms. Kruzel and Ms. Curcio all join FLB from Norris McLaughlin, P.A. Their hiring is part of an ongoing strategic growth and expansion plan aimed at strengthening the Firm’s overall services to clients. The expanded Family Law Group will focus on assisting clients with complex family law issues, including divorce, equitable distribution, alimony, property settlement agreements, premarital agreements, child custody, child and spousal support, protection from abuse and adoption.

Lauren Sorrentino is Chair of the Firm’s Family Law Group. Her practice focuses on matrimonial and family law, including divorce, equitable distribution, alimony, prenuptial and property settlement agreements, child support, child custody, and protection from abuse. With nearly 20 years of experience, Ms. Sorrentino has developed a reputation for being an effective, practical, and compassionate advocate for her clients, as she successfully guides them through the variety of legal, financial and emotional obstacles they face. Ms. Sorrentino believes in tailoring case strategies to each client’s unique needs and thinking creatively to ensure the broadest range of potential solutions to the legal challenges facing divorcing individuals. She earned her Bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, from Columbia University and her Juris Doctor degree from Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California at Berkeley.

Amy Kruzel is a shareholder in the Firm’s Family Law Group. She represents clients in all aspects of family law, including divorce, custody stipulations, agreements in support, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and property settlement agreements. Ms. Kruzel offers dedicated legal guidance and representation to individuals and families. By taking the time to get to know her clients and understand their needs, Ms. Kruzel provides customized guidance and personal attention that helps her clients navigate the challenges they face and achieve the best possible outcomes. While she is prepared to aggressively advocate on behalf of her clients in the courtroom if necessary, Ms. Kruzel draws on her mediation experience to achieve amicable resolutions whenever possible. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Dickinson College and her Juris Doctor degree from The Pennsylvania State University, Dickinson School of Law.

Catherine “Kate” Curcio is a shareholder in the Firm’s Family Law and Real Estate, Land Use and Development practices.  She works with clients to solve a variety of family law challenges, including divorce, equitable distribution, property settlement agreements, custody, child and spousal support, and adoption. In addition to her family law practice, Ms. Curcio, a licensed title agent, has a robust residential and commercial real estate practice. There, she represents real estate owners—both individuals and entities—and developers with a broad range of real estate transactions, including conveyances, leasing, landlord and tenant matters, actions in partition and ejectment, actions to quiet title, municipal matters, and zoning and land use matters for public and private clients. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Lafayette College and her Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School.
