“Exporting to Asia:” FLB Brings Engaging, Educational Seminar to Lehigh Valley Businesses

“Many American small businesses…have a reluctance to sell overseas,” stated Dr. James Chan, “But there is a market for American products (in China).” Dr. Chan, President of Asia Marketing & Management should know. For more than 30 years, he’s successfully helped local businesses export their products to Asian markets.

On Thursday, October 6, Fitzpatrick Lentz & Bubba, along with the World Trade Club and Lehigh Small Business Development Center, introduced Dr. Chan to approximately 20 local businesses so he could discuss with them the potential of exporting their products to Asia.

During this interactive event, Dr. Chan outlined his secrets for exporting success, what he calls his C.H.I.N.A. Formula: Showing Confidence. Possessing Hunger. Gathering Insiders. Saying No. Gaining Acceptance. During the discussion, Dr. Chan described in detail each of these concepts, explaining his formula as the key to selling to the complex and fragmented Asian market.
