Fitzpatrick Lentz & Bubba, P.C., is pleased to announce that Douglas Panzer, an intellectual property attorney for the Firm, recently became a registered patent attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Panzer, an experienced litigator and intellectual property strategy and transactional attorney, will expand his services to include representation of clients before the Patent Office.
“Having an attorney with this distinction helps Fitzpatrick Lentz and Bubba expand its goal of representing clients in the region in all facets of their business legal needs. As a registered patent attorney, Doug will be able to represent new and existing clients before the U.S. patent office,” said Joseph A. Bubba, the Firm’s Managing Partner. “This is valuable for both small and large businesses in and around the Lehigh Valley.”
Panzer holds degrees in Computer Science and Economics from Washington & Lee University and a J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law. He is a licensed attorney in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and is admitted to practice before state and federal courts in both states.
Panzer has received numerous honors, including placements in Pennsylvania Super Lawyers – Rising Star Edition in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2015, the 2015 Select Lawyers of the Lehigh Valley and the Top Attorneys list for Intellectual Property Law in Main Line Today magazine in 2014.
Panzer is active in the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation’s Entrepreneurship Council, LV Tech’s Startup Weekend and the Montgomery County Bar Association.
