Pennsylvania is still “Bringing the World to You.” Earlier in September, the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development hosted a series of virtual sessions with the Commonwealth’s Trade Representatives in many foreign countries. On Monday, September 13, Canada’s Rep (Nancy Ward) was the Presenter.
In addition to noting that medical device sales from Pennsylvania remain strong, she reminded the audience that exports of both goods and services to Canada are important to Pennsylvania’s economy. She also suggested that Pennsylvania companies register for the “Canada Buys” government procurement portal if they are interested in sales to the Canadian Government.
Ms. Ward also pointed out that the Canadian market is broken into five “regional personalities” across 10 provinces.
