Fitzpatrick Lentz & Bubba, P.C., is pleased to announce that Colin J. Keefe, a shareholder at the Firm, has been named to Lehigh Valley Business’ “Forty Under 40” list. The awards program recognizes and celebrates 40 of the Greater Lehigh Valley’s most accomplished businesspeople under the age of 40.
“Colin has consistently demonstrated exemplary legal skills, leadership and a commitment to FLB and the community,” said Joseph A. Bubba, co-managing shareholder. “Those qualities make Colin a valued member of our team – and very deserving of this prestigious distinction.”
An independent panel of judges reviews “Forty Under 40” nominees and honors successful candidates based on their personal achievements in business growth, professional excellence, and community development.
Keefe’s practice focuses on mergers, acquisitions and financings of large deals. He’s represented lenders in nine- and ten-figure project and acquisition finance transactions and currently represents banks and financial institutions in many of the Lehigh Valley’s largest commercial financings. Additionally, he provides the Firm’s clients with a full range of business, banking and financing legal services and expertise.
Keefe is a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and was decorated for heroism in combat during the Battle of Baghdad in April 2003. After his military experience, he enrolled and attended Lehigh University, where he graduated with high honors in 2006. Keefe then went on to earn his Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 2009.
Currently, Keefe is on the Board of Directors of Victory House of the Lehigh Valley, which provides shelter and transitional services to homeless men, many who have been homeless veterans.
Keefe and the other award recipients were honored at the “Forty Under 40” awards ceremony on June 15.
