Organizations like Safe Harbor Easton that tackle community issues such as homelessness, substance abuse and poverty have more on their plates this holiday than most. In order to ease their minds regarding the “smaller things,” FLB donated food, hygienic items and cleaning supplies to Safe Harbor Easton, as part of our “30 Acts of Giving” campaign. The shelter’s daily program known as ARISE has reduced the shelter’s recidivism rate by over 88%, and Safe Harbor Easton has actually hired four ARISE graduates since it started.

Safe Harbor Easton is a non-profit organization focused on giving men and women a stable foundation on which to restart their lives.  Their mission is to empower and educate men and women, and to help them achieve a better way of life by providing safe, secure housing and case management for all clients.

Safe Harbor Easton is always in need of volunteers and donations from the community.

As part of FLB’s 30th Anniversary, we decided to give back to the community that has helped us through the years. Our “30 Acts of Giving” campaign entailed collecting donations for and volunteering our time at 30 local charitable organizations.
