For our “30 Acts of Giving” campaign FLB brought the simple joy of homemade cookies and tea to the members of Haven House. Staff volunteered their lunch hour in mid-December to serve hot tea and holiday cookies of all kinds, from gingerbread men to snickerdoodles to no-sugar-added cherry pie. We even read winter and New Year themed stories as everyone enjoyed their tea.  There was no better way to spread holiday joy then Robert Frost and delicious treats.

As part of FLB’s 30th Anniversary, we decided to give back to the community that has helped us through the years. Our “30 Acts of Giving” campaign entailed collecting donations for and volunteering our time at 30 local charitable organizations.
